We are pleased to announce that Guido Caruso has joined Abintus Consulting as Senior Vice President Italy on a part-time basis.
Guido will act as our exclusive local partner in Italy, leading our expansion in this key European market and helping advertisers improve the effectiveness, transparency and governance of their media investments.
His experience across media agencies, international companies and independent consulting is a strong fit with our mission to support advertisers in making better informed media decisions.
Media Agency & Advertiser Experience
Guido brings eight years of media experience covering media planning, media auditing and multi-market pitch management.
He began his career in media agencies, working at Havas Media and PHD Media between 2017 and 2020. During this time, he:
- Worked as a Digital Planner on clients such as Hyundai, FedEx, Iberdrola, SC Johnson, ManoMano and Bethesda
- Coordinated media audits for automotive brands
- Supported major media pitches in the beverages category, including work for Diageo
In 2020 Guido moved client-side and joined Pernod Ricard, where he spent five years in media leadership roles. As Media Manager he:
- Coordinated media pitches in Italy and Greece, and supported European-level pitches
- Oversaw media audits in Italy and collaborated with Abintus on key projects
- Led digital acceleration initiatives and the management of all media touchpoints end-to-end
- Supported cross-department upskilling on media and digital within Pernod Ricard
This combination of agency and advertiser roles gives Guido a practical understanding of how media decisions are made on both sides of the table.

A 360° View of the Italian Media Market
Since 2025 Guido has been working as an independent media consultant, advising advertisers and scale-ups on:
- Full-funnel media strategy
- Meta and Google campaign management
- Programmatic, DOOH and programmatic OOH (POOH) activity
- Performance-driven media planning across multiple channels
Originally from Salerno and now based in Milan, Guido combines a strong local understanding of the Italian market with a national and international perspective.
Having seen the Italian media ecosystem from three angles, agency, brand and freelance, he brings a 360° view of how to drive better value from media in Italy.

What Guido Will Lead at Abintus
At Abintus, Guido will:
- Represent Abintus as SVP Italy and exclusive local partner
- Lead business development and client relationships in the Italian market
- Coordinate media audit and pitch management projects locally, working closely with our international team
- Support media management training and upskilling for Italian advertisers
Guido already knows Abintus well from his time at Pernod Ricard, where we partnered on media pitches and media audits.
This new collaboration builds on that relationship and formalises our commitment to Italy as a priority market.
